So far I am the youngest :P

I am 15, although I dont look my age. Only a few months from 16 though.

Its fun being young and doing this, probably because the smaller money can go a longer way at my age but it does hold me back.

I mean all of my clients for web design has been told I am 19 as I believe many wouldnt work with a 15 year old. Luckily, meeting with them and such hasnt broke the lie so far hehe.

^^I'm 15. i don't turn 16 until july so i'm guessing i'm the youngest??
i agree the money is great at this age, no bills, exept maybe cell phone or something, but other than that, i dont have to pay rent, or electricity or anything, so im pretty much the biggest spender in my family

i love being young. i do kinda tend to keep this on the down low from my friends, because otherwise they tend to wanna get in on the action when they have no idea what it is and its difficult to explain.

Welcome to the world of working from home on the net, so many of us have had this happen to us.

Friends find out what you making online and they want in too, only what they don't see is the hours/days/months it takes to build a site or get a reputation.

Selena
November 14th, 2006, 03:24 PM
^^exactly. when i say to anyone about my website their like "ohh i made on of those once" and im like thinking "geocities pagebuilder doesnt count you idiot."

its all good though. most of them slave away at 2 jobs to pay for car insurance while i work at subway maybe once a week (for work experience for job applications and stuff) and make 3 times what they make. oh the joys.

It's a great Forum.....we have had a couple of d$%heads turn up but they don't tend to stay around for long anyway.
And yeah, I have a lot of people asking me how to set up a site so they can make money online ..... and of course they all have these grand ideas that don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of working out. They think if you have a website millions of people instantly show up

I believe I'm the grandfather here ........ cough 55 cough. :wheelchair:

Yes Fryman .....

I knew there were a good amount of older users here, including myself lol, but didn't think there were that many over 50! Very cool to have such a diverse group and I wonder if that is why we have such a cool, giving, community. Everyone can learn from someone.

Might be time to bump the "are you your families success story" thread. Some great inspirational stories in there and could always use more ;).

its 18 but every one is drinking when their 16.....

Same in the US only our drinking age is 21.
And there's like...13 year olds who drink with their friends now. Take for example, my sister, who is 13, or take me for example, 15, and loves to drink =DD i'm horrible iknow.

but back on topic, i never really did think about how old some of the members here are compared to me, but i mean i dont care, now explaining it to the parents who are still like "OMGZZ anyone you talk to online is 50 years old and wants to find you and rape you" is another story, which is why i dont tell them.

I assume that was aimed at me and insulting the way I come across in my posts, don't judge me by the way I type or come across in a personal manner until you've taken me on in a business manner.
I will say no more on that matter, but one day someone WILL tell you "I TOLD YOU SO" - ever heard of the expression keep your friends close keep your enemies closer? That is so important when 90% of a forum know what your URL is
