How do you know if you are fully monetizing your sites potential?

Does anyone have an idea what the average earnings are for a resource site given "X" unique users?

I'm thinking something like this:

X unique daily users yields, on average, $X per day

Anyone care to share? This would be for everything together...Adsense, CPX, selling ad space, whatever...

Answer this way:

"5,000 unique users yields me, on average, between $50-$75 per day"

My goal is to end up with a formula that we can all use.

There have been thread before explaining how much people are earning per visitors.

You will not be able to work out a forumla of any kind without going through everyones site and studying it inside out.. eg. ad placement, ad types, colors, fold placement, page impressions..

Its basically impossible
