I know that this is really random, and probably something that you guys wouldnt know about, but its something I really need to know this to help a friend. By the way, if I've put this in the wrong place, please move it.

You see, I have this guy friend who meditates, he's really stressed about his family and all these problems he's been having lately, so he's been attempting mediating for a few days. Its helped alot, and he feels all realxed and that after he's meditated. The thing is, he's started to get these moments were everything goes completely out of wack, blurry, things start swirling and moving, everything doubles, etc etc.

He has them alot now, and hes thinking that they're a side effect of meditation. Its been putting him in a really bad mood and he feels like crap after having them.

Does anyone know if meditation has any side effects, and if it does, how can you stop the side effects from happening?

By the way, hes not like, doing drugs or anything, so it couldnt be that.
This is really random, but lets just hope some of you know a little about it.

Is he using herbs or something to help him relax more? Sorry, but I think Google is your friend with this thread. :D Do they happen during meditation or afterwards?

Afterwards, and he doesnt use any herbs.

I tried using google but it just ended up going for 'Medication side-effects' and that didnt help at all.
