I have been searching the net all day looking for myspace scripts. Found this site around 4:00 PM Eastern today and finally stoped reading long enough to make this post. I'm new to the myspace scene but it sure looks interesting. Glad to see some of you are making some real money and I sure would like to join you. I am considering the MSRS script so any encourgement you can give would be helpful. I'm not looking for free samples but laying out $297 for a script is pretty hard to think about. However, I keep reading about this mystery forum plus all the great things that have been said about the support from Greg-J makes me wish I already had it up and running. Thanks for such a great site!

Welcome to the forums.
MSRS has proven very useful for many many people, but there are other scripts out there, so you may consider them. It's always good though to expand your site beyond just a script.
You can learn tons here, I know i have.

Welcome to the community MrWizard :).
I agree with Selena. There are quite a few options for setting up a myspace site and in all honestly, a script alone won't make it. To start a site you will need to spend time building traffic and customizing it to give the users what they are looking for. Regardless what script you end up using you will have to put in effort to get traffic to the site and it's not always easy.
As long as you can get good traffic to your site you should be able to make decent money regardless of the script you use. You can even make good money with the free turnkey scripts if you work it right.
That being said, I love my MSRS and have multiple license because of it. I do also have other scripts but my MSRS make me the most money. Not sure if it is because I end up putting more time into them or because they are better optimized and users like them more. But on top of the script value is the community of owners. You see a good amount of it as many of the same people post in the open forums here but there is a lot of great info and help and many generous people in the private owners forum.
Regardless of what, if any, script you choose to use you should be able to find some great help even here in the open forums ;).

Selena, Scylint,
Thanks for your response and helpful information. I'm new to myspace but I've been on the net for a long time and tried a lot of different things. None very succesful. I know how hard it is to get traffic that is worth having and how expensive it can be. I will lurk here for a while and see what I can learn from you guys. Thanks again!
